Practitioners: Wade Phillips Wade is a licensed acupuncturist in Montana and Colorado. He grew up in the Vail Valley in Colorado where he gained a lifelong passion for the outdoors. In 1998, Wade moved to Boulder, Colorado to attend the University of Colorado. While there, he studied Biology and Sociology, among other things. In the winter of 2003, Wade enrolled at Southwest Acupuncture College. He graduated in December of 2005. After six months of decompression from school, Wade moved to Bozeman, MT. Since moving, Wade has been in private practice, as well as providing acupuncture at the Moonlight Spa and Canyon River Spa. He began working on opening Qi Well in June of 2008 and everything was finally ready to go on September 3rd 2008. Wade continues to enjoy the outdoors, and when he's not busy in the clinic, the best place to find him is fly fishing on one of the area's fine trout streams, or in the mountains skiing.
Liz Allen
Liz Allen, NCTMB, has 5 years of massage experience. Her emphasis on joint mobilization is essential in freeing clients from chronic pain, as well as aiding in injury recovery. Liz uses lymphatic detoxification techniques and tui na (Asian bodywork modality) to boost immune system function, reduce pain and enhance optimal range of motion in your joints. If, for example, a shoulder injury keeps you from using the joint normally, your opposite shoulder compensates and you are more likely to reinjure or further injure the shoulder. Receiving massage increases circulation, breaks up and increases scar tissue function, allows you to "feel" your body, and lightens your spirit. Liz uses organic massage oil and lotion, as well as high quality essential oils that are chosen for your specific needs. Liz will offer chair and table massages at Qi Well. She is available Wedenesday mornings from blank to blank.
