What is Community Supported Acupuncture?

relaxing

At Qi Well, we practice Community Supported Acupuncture (CSA). Most acupuncturists in the United States see patients in a one-on-one hour long appointment in a small office. These sessions generally cost between $65 and $175, some are more expensive though. Qi Well and CSA are different. We charge on a sliding scale, $15-$35 plus a one time $10 paperwork setup fee at your first treatment. We treat in a group setting. This means you will be in a community space with your family, friends, and neighbors. No tiny office, no time limits, and no embarrassing examination gowns. At Qi Well, you simply relax in one of our comfortable recliners with your sleeves and pant legs rolled up above your elbows and knees. After a brief whispered conversation with the acupuncturist, the pulses are examined, and the needles are placed. At this point, most people fall asleep for 40 minutes to an hour, although some people wake up sooner, while some sleep longer. When you feel you are done, quietly catch our attention. We will take the needles out, and let you go upon your way.
